Communities & Mentorship

Advisory Board: intersections collaborative ™ relies on a talented group of advisors who are charged with ensuring that the business (1) aligns its work with its vision and values, (2) pursues avenues for expanding and deepening impact, and (3) models how an equity-centered, antiracist LLC should operate. 

​

Collaborative Consulting Community: In 2023, Andrew co-founded an monthly collaborative space for consultants to support each other in their work. This is a key space for keeping intersections collaborative ™ focused on its mission.

White Talkers: Since 2019, Andrew has participated in a monthly white accountability group, which functions as a community processing space to keeps group members on their journey towards antiracism. This has been an essential space for Andrew to improve his self-awareness, build knowledge and skills around race and racism, and take actions to make his work more aligned with his values. 

​

SCORE Mentor: Andrew regularly meets with a SCORE mentor to get feedback on how to improve the business through a lens of integrity.

Organizational Design & Fiscal Responsibility

 

Collaborative: intersections ™ rebranded to intersections collaborative ™ to emphasize a core layer of how the business operates: with people. From equity audits to strategic planning to data tool design, all projects are meant to be conducted in collaborative partnership with clients.

Annual survey: All clients partnering with intersections collaborative ™ have the opportunity to complete an annual feedback survey, which helps inform needs and growth areas for the business. 

​

Compensation philosophy: Fiscal responsibility, both in terms of equitable rates as well as wealth redistribution, grounds how intersections collaborative ™ creates contract proposals. Read more here.​​​​​
